Captain Toni of the High Seas! (OC D&D Commission)

Name : Antoinette "Toni" Faezira. Real first name is Aredhel.

Age: 250 years

Apparent age: 25

Gender: Female

Race: High Elf

Body features: Slim, lightly-toned, and fit as a fiddle. Well-endowed on both her chest and rump from years of exercise and hard work aboardship, first as a lowly bilge girl, and eventually all the way to captaining her own vessel.

Hair colors and Hairstyle: Golden-blond, done in a tight-braid in the morning that's falling apart by the end of the day. She'll normally wear the braid draped over one shoulder or down her back depending on the day. One time, she even wore it wrapped around her neck for a boarding action because she was trying out different ways to keep her hair out of her way during battle.

Eyes color and shape : A mix of seafoam green and blue. Her eyes are large, but intense and focused, with quite a bit of mischief in them.

The first image is her as a swashbuckling, adventurous pirate captain. The 2nd and 3rd are when she was Lady Aredhel Faezira, living the unsatisfying life of a noblewoman.

Skin tone : Pale, yet lightly-sunkissed.

Clothing: Pirate garb, chief of which is her coat made from the scales of a Golden Dragon that she and her crew, and her ship the Will o' Wisp, succeeded in killing and making their name on the high seas in doing so.

Profession: Captain of the Adventuring Vessel "Will o' Wisp."

Powers and weapons: She's a very crafty rogue, a smooth talker, a con artist, and still carries connections in her Elven homeland due to her family name. She's learned a bit of shadowdancing and other tricks to help her be a better fighter, smuggler, pirate captain, and thief. She also has a small affinity for water-based magics; She also has an uncanny, almost-unnatural instinct for sailing and the sea, itself, which seems to be almost part of her primordial soul. For weapons, she has an Elven Thinblade that she nicked from her family home when she ran off to become a sailor and at least one flintlock pistol on her at all times, sometimes as many as 6-8 if the situation calls for it. She's also a crackshot with a rifle, bow, and other longarms.

Facial shape: Ovular. See portrait reference above.

Personality (3adjectives): Cunning, confident, and mischievious.

Likes: Sailing down the back of a massive breaking wave after leaving an island, hanging from a rigging ladder on the side of her ship. Her hair often becomes mussed or undone, with it flowing in the wind in cases where the braid gives way. She'll then have to spend time redoing her hair, but it was worth every second. Or she'll leave her hair down. She's fickle like that. She also likes being barefoot, and rarely, if ever, wears shoes even as captain. Being barefoot on the deck of a ship is the best option, anyway.

Dislikes: Politics and having to be involved in them. She can play the Game if she has to, but if given the choice, she will get herself out of any situation where she has to appease petty nobles and unjust kings for a profit. There's always honest pirating to be found over the next horizon. Or, better yet, she'll figure out a scheme where she and her crew fleece the Decadent Court of their money, jewels, and other important items(one time, she and her crew successfully stole the shoes of every noblewoman in a robber baron's court because they figured out their planned heist wouldn't succeed. And they still turned a tidy profit, if not as large, at the next port because of how well-made their shoes were. Last the Wisp's crew heard of this court, the baroness and the noblewomen/gentry were working to make going barefoot for women the fashionable trend in order to coverup their embarrassment, but the people of the port city knew the truth because Toni's crew got the word spreading amongst the local underground of undesirables).

Background: Toni was born the oldest daughter of a powerful Elven noble family of the country of Peltas 250 years ago. She has two more sisters and two brothers. Toni was brought up with all the manners and refinement expected of a woman of her class and station (but not especially-rigidly enforced. Think of it more like guidelines rather than actual rules), and she resented everything, which resorted to her rebelling every now and then. Even when she was part of the court, she rebelled in small ways like refusing to wear shoes and citing old Elven cultural laws dictating that the women be barefoot when posing for portraits to symbolize the female sex's alleged closer connection to Nature than men's. Thus, when a family portrait was commissioned, Toni's mother, sisters, as well as herself were all posing barefoot, and only one of them was actually happy about that(guess who?).

Type of setting: D&D on the High Sea
